MUSIC
by Amy Sequenzia

The silence
Just before the first
Note

A split second when
The body prepares itself for
The harmony of the senses

Bliss

Low pitch pulsating in
My veins.
The beat of the
Drums in sync with
My heart

My
Heart
Beats

And the
Blood
Flows

The colors get
Brighter with each
High pitch
They move faster, drawing
Shapes all around me

My body shivers with
Excitement
Anticipation
And
Beauty

Notes
Touching my arms
My torso

Gentle strokes in
My skin
From the inside

Exploding into the
Ether

Words
Caressing

Gently
Pinching

A tickle - a tactile whisper

They envelop me
With beauty

The colors
Circling around me

Like arrows
They fly from
My center
Into space
And beyond

Coming back from
Eternity
Bringing along
Delight

It is a whole being experience. It is
Body
Mind
Soul

Exchange of energy
Who gives?
Who receives?

The bubble that doesn't burst
But that grows.
Then softly is
Absorbed by my
Elated self

The beauty
The bliss
The music
